According to a new poll conducted for The Detroit News and WDIV-TV, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is leading her Republican rival Donald Trump 41 percent to 32 percent in Michigan.

600 likely voters were polled from July 30 to August 1. If other polls continue to back this trend, the Wolverine State will no longer be considered a competitive swing state by experts.

Since the conventions ended, Mr. Trump has experienced the worst five-day coverage for a presidential candidate in recent memory. A lot of Republican leaders are now backing his opponent, and some politicians are even questioning his sanity publicly. A national poll published by Fox News on Wednesday showed Mrs. Clinton enjoying a 10-point lead.

Things might get worse for the business mogul in the upcoming weeks; voters are starting to question his fitness for the job.
