Mike Pence doctor’s report has been released, and it shows that he is fit to be VP. The letter was signed on September 15 by Dr. Michael Busk from the St. Vincent Health, Wellness and Preventive Care Institute in Indianapolis.

According to Dr. Busk, on July 6, Mr. Pence obtained the results of several physical examinations that showed he is in “excellent health.” Dr. Busk wrote that Pence exercises on a regular basis to stay fit and have good health.

The governor of Indiana enjoys bicycling, long walks, and climbing stairs extensively at least four times per week. Other details revealed in Pence doctor’s report are his weight – 208 pounds – and his height, he is 5-feet, 10-inches tall.

His blood pressure was 116/81, and his cholesterol was 216 during the July exam. Busk, a pulmonologist involved in clinical research in COPD and asthma, said that Donald Trump‘s running mate does not consume alcohol and is a nonsmoker. Pence takes Claritin only as needed for seasonal allergies.

The doctor also shared Pence’s surgical history. He revealed that in 2015 he had an operation to repair his left inguinal hernia. He had surgeries for the removal of basal cell carcinomas of the face in 2002 and 2010. In 2009, Pence underwent a colonoscopy, which demonstrated no polyps. Here is an excerpt from the report:

“You see physicians regularly on an annual basis for prevention of disease. You are followed by Preventative Cardiology and see the Cardiologist annually. In 2002, you had a heart scan for a total coronary artery calcium score, which was 0 or no calcium deposits (excellent score). You have had extensive evaluations of the asymptomatic left bundle branch block with the Cardiologists at St. Vincent Health. In 2014, you had a graded exercise stress test, transthoracic echocardiogram with Doppler and Color Flow, and a complete cardiac MRI with stress. The evaluations showed a paradoxical septal motion consistent with the asymptomatic left bundle branch block.”

The letter went on to say:

“The complete cardiac MRI with stress demonstrated no evidence for ischemia, no evidence for infiltrative cardiomyopathy, normal left ventricular chamber size and cardiac function, and all the heart chambers and heart valves were normal. The evaluations did demonstrate borderline to mild enlargement of the proximal aorta. Repeat echocardiograms have shown it to be stable and you are followed annually with an echocardiogram. The evaluations also demonstrated a benign right renal cyst. The cardiologists feel you have a very good and strong heart.”

Last week, Trump appeared on the Dr. Oz Show where he shared the results of his exams. He spoke about his weight, his love of fast food, and his passion for golfing. Hillary Clinton put out several health details, and so did her running mate, Tim Kaine. Doctors for Kaine and Clinton said they were mentally and physically fit to serve the American people.
