Michael Flynn Sharia Law Claims Debunked Left And Right

Michael Flynn added Sharia law to the long list of fake awful things that will take over America and destroy it.

Flynn, a retired United States Army lieutenant general, who has been tapped to be a National Security Advisor to Donald Trump, has been caught on numerous occasions perpetuating claims that have been debunked time and time again. He has also called “Islam a cancer” and said the Islamic ideology is sick.

The former chair of the Military Intelligence Board and Assistant Director of National Intelligence has knowledge, seen data, and received top-level briefings that only a few Americans have access to.

So, why is he insisting on the faux rumors that Muslim-Americans have found secrets ways to put Sharia law in a handful of states including Massachusetts, Florida, and Texas?

Additionally, Mr. Flynn has been going around saying that more than 12 Democratic state senators had voted to impose the laws on a local and state level and were blocked by Republicans.

Respected media outlets in all of these states and countless fact-checkers like PolitiFact and Snopes have made it clear that the claims are fake. The Houston Chronicle wrote that the “rumors about Sharia courts” are the hoax of the year.

In a fiery speech at the ACT! for America gathering in San Antonio, Texas, the senior intelligence officer for the Joint Special Operations Command said:

“This Sharia law business, what’s happening right here in the state of Texas is unbelievable. I try to study a little bit about where I’m going to go to talk, what’s happening here, you guys have some serious issues. You got some serious issues — I studied Florida a little bit, because I was down last Wednesday in Florida where a couple of these campaign events and what struck me was, Florida has 36 state senators. 12 of them are Democrats. 12 of those senators are Democrats and the other whatever it is 24, I guess, or 14, are Republicans. So, all 12 Democrats voted to have Sharia law as part of the state judicial system in the state of Florida. You got that going on in this state right here. You have that going on in this state right here. It’s over 100 cases around the country.”

The tough-talking general took things a step further in a speech to ACT! in Dallas, where he said that radical Islam is spreading in all 50 states. He said:

“I want people to understand that there are different laws that are not our laws that others try to impose when they’re trying to protect somebody. Like it’s going on right now in the state of Texas…in your state, in many other states around this country, at the state level, at the local level and the state level; because you can’t do it at the federal level just yet because we don’t have the Supreme Court in place that would provide the top cover.”

He added:

“When you, in the state of Texas, you, in the state of Texas—your legislators, your state representatives, your state senators, there’s a bunch of them that would be willing to have Sharia law imposed in the state of Texas. Listening to the Irving mayor, I mean, she said something to me today that I had not heard anybody say, but it does not surprise me that the movement that does exist—okay, you hear about CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, and all these different organizations—the movement that does exist, they go out to cities and they look for the mayors to co-opt. So thank God they couldn’t co-opt her. I mean, she’s as tough as nails. She’s as tough as nails.”

The Islamic tribunal, which Flynn and others such as former CIA employee Steve Tarani claimed has been backing Shariah morals and principles, is actually an organization that helps Muslims settle business and noncriminal disputes.

The tribunal’s website reads: “does not attempt to impose any belief system upon any individual and work in compliance with the State of Texas and the United States Constitution.”
