George and his wife, Amal Clooney, are not your typical mega Hollywood couple, which is why people will not be surprised to discover the beautiful and straightforward names the pair has picked for their twins.
While Mr. Clooney is known for his many blockbuster movies, he is also an activist, and humanitarian, who has been arrested fighting for causes he believes in like the conflicts in Chad and Sudan.
As for Mrs. Clooney, yes, she is viewed as a fashion icon, but do not forget what she does for a living – she is a high-level lawyer specializing in international law and human rights.
This is why not many will be shocked to learn that the parents-to-be have selected two common yet beautiful names for their babies due in June.
A source close to the couple said they would go with Carol for the baby girl and Michael for the little boy.
The insider said not to be surprised if the babies end up with middle names inspired by the paternal grandparents or great grandparents who were all famous writers or reporters.
The source revealed to the media that George and Amal Clooney find it crazy to name a child after an object or a place.
The person confessed: “Names are still being determined for the children, but one thing they are both adamant about is to not name the kids with some weird celebrity name that is more common in Hollywood than not.”
The insider went on to explain: “We are most likely going to get something like Carol or Michael before we get Kal-El, Apple, or Pilot Inspektor.”
In a recent interview with a French publication, George Clooney, 55, revealed that he and his 39-year-old wife Amal will no longer be traveling to dangerous countries to protect their babies.
He also revealed that he was both excited and scared to become a first-time father to twins.
Congrats to the couple!
