Alicia Silverstone disses Elisabeth Hasselbeck on “the view”

Alicia Silverstone is a hero in my book ,for the way she dissed Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the “view” yesterday.
I am thinking of getting her a sand statue ,just like my other heroes which includes Sanjaya Malakar and Paris Hilton.

If Alicia is your hero then you have very low expectations of what a hero is. Having common courtesy when you are a guest on someone’s show should be the mark of a hero and allowing each person to state their views. It’s quite obvious that Alicia only supports freedom of speech if it’s speech she wants to hear.
I hope if you ever need a hero there will be one out there with better credentials to come to your aide.

Ms. Silverstone’s decision to diss Elizabeth on the View was extremely immature and shows total lack of character on her part. It was very juvenile behavior. I wish these “starlettes” would grow up and quit acting liked spoiled brats. They are poor role models for our youth of today. Elizabeth Hasselbeck,on the other hand, is a very intelligent lady who I believe lives her life with integrity and great character. She’s a great role model. My advice to her would be keep your head high and don’t lower yourself to Rosie’s level or let Alicia cause you to lose any sleep. Who is Alicia to think that not acknowledging Elizabeth would mean anything to anybody? To Alicia, I say “GROW UP MISSY! YOUR BEHAVIOR SPOKE VOLUMES AS TO THE KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE!”

It’s so easy to be flip and nasty. Why not use your brain to give an intelligent, balanced viewpoint? When you write simplistic, banal commentary the only thing you do is reflect whatever and whomever you are criticizing. I am tired of tendentious, disingenuous Rosie. I am sick of her bullying tirades. And I thought Alicia Silverstone behaved abominably. Is snubbing someone the way to engage in real conversation? I don’t think so. Furthermore, I like Sanjaya and thought he behaved bravely and maturely in the face of so much ridicule (from people like you). And so you know (before I receive the generic barrage), I loathe George Bush as well as the Christian right, and I am a woman in love with a woman.

I for one think that the person that hired Elisabeth for “the View”… is a moron. Come on… She is another reality show loser that tries to make their mark. She seems fairly smart, but VERY CLOSED MINDED. Maybe she could come back when she grows up a bit… Maybe NOT. I will never watch the show again, and have been a faithful viewer for almost 7 years. Elisabeth… Do us all a favor and be a stay at home mom.

Oh man, I almost feel bad for Hasselbeck, aka “the dumbest person on television”. It was rude of Alicia to snub her like that. She could have just said a simple hello without being phony. Unless maybe there is something between the two blondes that we don’t know about. Anyway, E. Hasselbeck should be banned from television! She only harms the American public with her narrow views and Bushbot attitude!

I also agree that Silverstones decision to ignore Elizabeth was rude and unprofessional. Whether you agree or disagree with who was to blame for the Rosie vs. Elizabeth. Her decision to choose sides this way now makes me look at Silverstone in a different way… I don’t care for her anymore.

Elizabeth is the only one who really expresses her “view” on the show. Rosie is a bully and the rest of them did nothing but gang-up and drown her out the most they could and tried to use the crowd against her. Rosie leaving the View immediately after she got her ass kicked and had her fans turn on her is quite the remarkable timing.

I stopped watching new adventures of old christine because of their snide comments about republicans. This is one of the latest shows I will no longer watch. I’m sick and tired of watching shows where liberals stick in their two-cents, keep it, I don’t want it. Stop cramming political veiws down our throats! If I can figure I way to get a group together to boycott advertisers on these shows I will. Anybody have a clue how, let me know, I’m on board!
