Andrew Wyeth Christina’s World Painter Dead – Andrew Wyeth who was the artist behind Christina’s World died in his sleep at the age of 91 at his home in the Philadelphia suburb of Chadds Ford.Wyeth’s career exploded with a series of painting called “Christina’s World,” where he painted Helga Testorf in 1986 in full nude portraits.
Wyeth said:
“Really, I think one’s art goes only as far and as deep as your love goes.”
“I don’t paint these hills around Chadds Ford because they’re better than the hills somewhere else. It’s that I was born here, lived here _ things have a meaning for me.”
