Anne Nicole Smith Borderline Personality Disorder Says Psychiatrist – Anna Nicole Smith was well known for her often erratic behavior, sexual exploits, marriage to an old millionaire, and a long list of conflicts that made her an absolute train wreck to witness.

Her death, believed to have been caused by an overdose of the pills she had long since been addicted to, ended a rather sad, public life where she made a fool of herself again and again on reality shows, at award shows, and just on the street.

But it might have been more than dysfunction in her daily life causing the issues; she apparently had a severe personality disorder that threw her entire life into chaos.

Those who have known someone, especially someone close, who had a personality disorder will known what a struggle it can be remaining in their lives. Borderline Personality Disorder in particular is difficult to deal with, as the manifesting symptoms can be so very severe.

Chaotic lifestyles, fear of abandonment, drug and alcohol addiction, sexual promiscuity, emotion instability, reckless reactions and actions, lack of impulse control, anger and depression are all common symptoms, and all are some exhibited by the late Playboy Playmate.

Dr. Nathalie Maullin says that she was on call the night that Anna Nicole was brought in for severe withdraw symptoms from Xanax and Methadone, which she attempted to stop cold turkey when she found she was pregnant with her daughter.

She has confirmed that Anna Nicole did indeed suffer from diagnosed BPD, which has rendered her entire life a complete mess.

BPD is treatable, and is often considered a temporary condition that can be fixed or reduced with intense therapy, and sometimes medication to deal with depression, anxiety and anger. It is often caused by abuse or abandonment in childhood, and can be a precursor to crime, eating disorders, and suicides.
