Britney Spears Gets Love From Church
Members of the Southland Christian Church are asked to send letters of love and support to Britney Spears.
Pastor John Weece said that the idea came from God,the angels and the saints as he was watching the media coverage of Spears endless dramas on tv.
Weece said to the congregation:
“Take a few minutes and write a note to Britney Spears,”
“No preaching. No criticizing. Just love. As a church, let’s love Britney the way Jesus loves her.”
“If she were your next-door neighbor in the same situation without the money and success, wouldn’t you care about her problems? Wouldn’t you pray for her and offer her support and encouragement?”
Cindy Willison, the church’s director of communications, was still collecting letters yesterday and is searching for the best way to get them directly to Spears.
My advice to Cindy is to go and wait at an LA Starbucks or simply ask the paparazzi for direction.
Spears was spotted in LA this week end.
