Charlize Theron covers and is featured in the July 2008 issue of GQ magazine.Charlize who doesn’t like to hold things back,used her interview to blast attention-craving celebrities.The “Monster” actress told the mag:
“It comes across as this really sad need for approval. I’ve heard people make comments like, ‘You don’t really want to be in the tabloids but you need to be for your career.’ They believe it’s actually important. It’s not. It’s ugly.”
Charlize also doesn’t believe that being in celebrity publications,is part of her job description,she explains:
“People say, ‘That’s your job.’ It really isn’t, actually. It’s not my job to go out there and make an ass out of myself.”
The Oscar-winning actress doesn’t think that actors should give too much of themselves in interviews either,she concluded:
“Like, your life belongs to us now? That’s the deal? I didn’t get that memo. It wasn’t sent to me and I didn’t sign it. So, [bleep] you.”
That’s a lot of talking,I will focus on the pictures instead.
