David Arquette Rehab Stint Over

Actor David Arquette has checked himself out of rehab.

The quirky and eccentric actor entered a live-in facility to address problems with “alcohol and other issues” after a New Year’s Eve party at Arquette & Beacher’s Madhouse Theater in the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.

On Sunday, Arquette’s representative told People Magazine that Arquette “has completed his treatment and has left.”

Sources have said Arquette was in treatment for alcohol and depression but not drugs and that he checked in to rehab because it was “the right thing to do for his family.” He is estranged from wife Courteney Cox, of “Friend’s” fame.

Cox commented in support of her husband’s move to get help. “I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life,” she told People earlier this month. “I love and support him.”

In recent months, before entering rehab, Arquette’s normally weird behavior became more erratic and he was involved in several bizarre public encounters including one where he fell in a pool during a party.

He also revealed intimate details of his marriage with Cox and other things during conversations with radio shock jock Howard Stern.

Arguette has had roles in several movies, but is generally a hit and miss actor who is better known for his antics than film resume.
