David Arquette Rehab Stint

Unfortunately for David Arquette, it looks as though his separation from wife Courteney Cox is taking more of a toll on him than he would like.

The actor recently announced that he would be entering into a rehab program, after he and Cox announced that they were separating back in October.

Although Arquette’s representative did not explicitly state what the actor was entering treatment for, a source close to him claims that he has numerous issued with alcohol abuse.

“He is in there for drinking and depression, not hard drugs. Rehab was inevitable. He is dealing with a broken heart. He can’t handle all the changes in his life. All his inner demons came out,” said the source.

Arquette also recently spoke to Howard Stern about the break up and said that his psychologist was worried that the actor was experiencing a “nervous breakdown”. He also admitted that he had been “drinking a lot.”
“Everybody’s worried and concerned about me. When I drink, I become a maniac,” Arquette told Stern during the interview.

Although it could be a difficult road, sources are reporting that estranged wife Cox is glad to see Arquette getting help for his issues.
