Elin Nordegren in People Magazine on Tiger Woods Divorce – With her divorce from her husband Tiger Woods finalized, Elin Nordegren has spoken out about what she went through these past few months. She had remained almost completely silent about the ordeal up to this point, but recently opened up to People Magazine about the drama. She said in the interview that it will be the one and only time that she discusses the scandal, and spoke candidly about how it has affected her. The interview was conducted over 4 days, with nineteen hours of total questioning.
In the interview, she stated that she was not a violent person, and that the accusations that she had swung a golf club at Tiger Woods on Thanksgiving night were “ridiculous.” When the news of Tiger’s extramarital affairs first broke, she said that she had no previous knowledge of them and that she had believed that she was the only woman in his life, and also said that she was embarrassed that she had not suspected something was amiss.
“The word betrayal is just not strong enough,” she said, and added that she now believes that the marriage between her and Woods was one that was orchestrated for sponsors and for the media.
Woods has yet to comment on the interview, and Nordegren made sure to avoid exposing any personal information regarding their time together. Nordegren also said that she had no plans on living a public life, but that she is aware of her infamy as the aggrieved wife in this situation. It will be interesting to see if she continues to garner media attention in the coming months even if she has made it very clear that she has no interest in being a celebrity.

SHAME ON both of you, DAVID FREER & SUZY WALSHAM!!!!!!! (THEY BOTH WORK FOR SYMANTEC). I worked for Symantec too. Yes, Symantec is a bizarre company.
