Elin Nordegren Tiger Woods Divorce Settlement – Tiger Wood’s horror time is seemingly coming to a close, as his marriage to his former partner and model, Elin Nordegren, is now officially over as the divorce has gone through the courts in Florida.
The couple has been separated for the past few months following Tiger’s meltdown, where it was discovered that he was having many affairs to many different women. After six years of marriage, the papers were filed by the lawyers to dissolve it at the Bay County Circuit Court in Florida.
Much of the deliberation was over how the money will be split, and the custody rights of the children between the two. Current reports of how much Nordegren would be paid is between $100 million to $150 million.
“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future,” Woods and Nordegren said in a joint statement released by their lawyers.
“While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.
“Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being.
“The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”
