Emily Deschanel and writer-actor David Hornsby (FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) exchanged vows during a discreet ceremony held on Saturday in Los Angeles in the suburb of Pacific Palisades.

The actress returns to work on Monday for new episodes of the sixth season of Bones.

Sister Zooey Deschanel, other family members and few friends were present for the big day.
