Irma Nici Wants David Beckham To Testify In Court

In a further blow to the soccer legend’s reputation (and to add further strain to his marriage, we imagine), David Beckham has now been summoned to court over claims that he cheated on his wife, Victoria Beckham (nee Adams), with a prostitute.

Sex worker Irma Nici has filed documents asking her lawyers to order Beckham to testify in court. She claims that the star paid for her services on more than one occasion. Beckham’s representative has claimed that the accusations are “untrue and ridiculous”.

This follows news that Beckham’s libel lawsuit against In Touch magazine, who originally ran the story, was thrown out of court by Judge Manuel Real on Valentines Day because the star could not provide evidence that the magazine published the story with malicious intent.

British newspaper The Daily Mirror has revealed that Beckham has been called to face  ”examination before an officer authorized to administer oaths” on the 24th of February. Nici’s lawyer Paul Jensen told the tabloid that Beckham will likely attempt to wriggle out of the deposition. “He may try to delay, reschedule or postpone it – but he can’t avoid it.”
