Jason ‘Tiger’ Goodwin Sues PGA Tour

Who ever heard of a Tiger getting kicked out of a PGA tournament.
Well that’s what happened to a fan of golf legend Tiger Woods, as the fan showed up in a Tiger outfit. Not a Tiger Woods outfit but a Tiger outfit, orange, giant cat tiger.
He was escorted off the tournament grounds by security even though he says he had permission to arrive in his costume. Another player complained about the bright orange outfit and the fan was removed.
Jason Goodwin says that during the TPC Boston Tournament in 2010 he got the boot for wearing the costume even though he said he had the okay to do so. He presented a valid ticket for the game and security gave him the toss after Angel Cabrera started to complain about the costume.
Goodwin filed in small claims court against the PGA saying his civil rights were infringed on and is asking $7,150.
This is one of those court cases that may seem comical and small but it could have ramifications if the court agrees. Fans at sporting events show up in all sorts of costumes, makeup and sometimes show up almost naked but here we have a fan in a costume, with permission to appear at the event but denied and lost his chance to see if favorite player.
Looks like Mr. Angel Cabrera may have some explaining to do if some smart lawyer is watching this legal action.
