Kate Gosselin Spent $21,000 On Hair – Reportedly, Kate Gosselin has spent $50,000 on her hair this year alone. She is known for having a number of different hair styles that she commonly wears. When she was first becoming a household name, she wore her hair short and spiky. It was very much the hair style that a rebelling teenager might have worn, but it did look good on Gosselin.
However, after her public break up with Jon Gosselin, Kate has worn many different hair styles. It is reported that these hair styles may have cost her over $21,000 over the course of the last year.
“Extensions cost $5,000, color costs about $500 and cuts with Ted Gibson are $950- each without tax,” said one source.
He went on to say that her extensions usually take between six and eight hours to put in, and that she spent over 50 hours getting her hair done in January.
While the fact is interesting, who is to tell Kate Gosselin how she should spend her money? She reportedly has made huge amounts of money in recent years, with appearances on a handful of different television shows, including “Dancing with the Stars.”
Her name has grown from only being associated with her former reality show, “Jon and Kate Plus Eight” to being a real Hollywood icon. While some argue that the money would be better spent on her eight children, it is hard to justify telling Kate Gosselin that she should do anything different, as she seems to have a pretty good grasp on the industry.

I truly feel sorry for that woman, who appears to be so self-centered. She is forever going on about how she needs to make big money to provide for her kids, and she spends crazy money for her image. I truly feel sorry for those kids, who have 2 whacked parents, who only think of themselves. Having that reality show has turned both of them into monsters, who live each moment desparate for the spot light. I really wish they would both just go away!! What was once a cute show about a family struggling to provide, and manage caring for 8 kids, has now turned into them both wanting to be in the spot light as much as possible. Who cares what she spends her money on, who cares, what she eats for breakfast, the only thing I care about is making this disgusting, money hungry woman dissapear!! Enough of Kate Gosselin and all of her problems, she should use some of that money get some proffesional help!!
