Nadya Suleman Foreclosure:Octomom Eviction? – It appears as if Nadya Suleman, also commonly known as “Octomom” after giving birth to 8 babies several months ago, is facing foreclosure on her home. Suleman and her fourteen kids have been living in the two story, four bedroom Southern California home, and apparently have not been able to keep up on the mortgage. It has been reported that the eviction proceedings have already begun, and that it appears as if her house will indeed be foreclosed on in the coming days and weeks.

Many people felt that handing over state funds to help her take care of her kids was not the problems of the tax payer, and that she should have to go through all of the normal procedures that any other individual would in order to secure financial help from the state.
The home was purchased in 2009, with the agreement that Suleman and her father would be able to come up with a down payment for the home within a year time. Well, a year has passed and no funds have been handed over to Amer Haddadin, the man who took out the $450,000 loan so the family could live in the house. The house is being foreclosed on in the name of Haddadin, who holds the loan on the house. Haddadin has described the currently underway process as “unfair” and has also said that they “are not cooperating [with him.]”
Suleman received large sums of money for her television appearances when she was the center of attention around the country in 2009. It is unclear at this point if any of the money she earned during that period is still in her possession. There had been numerous reports in tabloids that she had treated herself to several large spending sprees with the money that she had earned from her television appearances.
