Paris Hilton gets $1 million for interview with NBC

NBC has reportedly paid $1m to get the first post-jail interview with Paris Hilton,which will appear on the “Today” show.
Paris agreed to the interview, but said she would only speak with Meredith Vieira because of “disparaging” remarks her co-host Matt Lauer made about her.
This news will annoy ABC, which had been expecting Hilton’s first interview to be conducted by Barbara Walters on the strength of her strong friendship with Paris’ mother Kathy.
