Paris Hilton In Towel: Intruder Tries To Break Into Her Home – While I am sure it was a frightening experience, learning that a man with two knives was caught trying to break into the home of Paris Hilton seems like it should be a part of the Darwin Awards.

Nathan Lee Parada is a 31-year-old man with a criminal history for burglary, allegedly went up to the house early in the morning and began to bang on the windows and front door. I guess he doesn’t believe in operating in stealth mode.

Paris saw him on the security cameras (which she would obviously have), and called the police as the man continued to pound on her door, holding a few knives. When police arrived, they found him still trying to get in. Paris snapped a few shots of him being arrested as he was hauled off of her lawn.

Then, like any celebrity would do, she took to Twitter to tell of her harrowing and bizarre experience. ”So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes,” she told her fans, saying that he was being arrested at that moment.

As for Parades, it isn’t known if he was targeting Paris specifically due to her wealth, an obsession with her, or if it was just a massive coincidence. His family, who say he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has a history of mood problems, claim they have never heard him expressing any unhealthy desires or obsessions surrounding the socialite.

Chances are, he either knew it was her home and hoped to make off with a treasure like the $2 million stolen from her home in 2008, or else he has the worst luck in the world and just happened to catch someone who had security cameras, and was famous.

Either way, pounding on the house with a couple of knives out at 6:40 AM seems like a stupid way to go, but no one said he was a criminal mastermind.
