Reese Witherspoon Engaged – Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are engaged and the couple will marry the week before Christmas.Gyllenhaal,apparently told friends that him and Witherspoon would tie the knot around his birthday (December 19).A source close to the Brokeback Mountain actor revealed:
“Jake is telling everyone they are getting married at Christmas. He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time. When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes.”
Reese has two children from her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe,she met Jake in 2006.That’s all we have for now on the Reese Witherspoon-Jake Gyllenhaal engagement rumor.

This is being repeated as if it were true, but has it been officially announced? This would not be a “friend” gossiping about them, but something else. A “friend” would not be spreading this rumor.
