Shawne Merriman Tila Tequila:Nguyen Boyfriend Merriman Arrested – Shawne Merriman (sean merriman) who plays for the San Diego Chargers was arrested today for a domestic incident after an alleged fight with girlfriend Tila Tequila/Tila Nguyen who is said to be hospitalized.According to various San Diego media outlets Merriman is accused of chocking Tila,he was taken into custody by sheriff’s deputies after authorities received a call around 3:45 a.m.Chargers General Manager A.J. Smith said in a written statement :
“It’s disappointing to hear about the issue involving Shawne Merriman.We’ll continue to monitor the situation and let the legal process run its course.”
Merriman is still in custody of the Diego County Sheriff’s Department
