Simon Monjack Dead:Brittany Murphy Husband Death – Just months after the passing of his wife, Brittany Murphy, Simon Monjack was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment. The 39 year old Monjack was apparently aware that he was suffering from several heart conditions and would require a bypass at some point in the near future. He apparently decided to put that off until he was able to finish grieving for his wife, Brittany Murphy, who passed away from flu like symptoms combined with an accidental overdose of prescription pill medication, according to news that broke shortly after her death. The cause of death for Monjack was determined to be natural causes, but an autopsy is still being performed to ensure that the diagnosis is correct.

Simon Monjack was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment by Sharon Murphy, Brittany Murphy’s mother. She had apparently stopped by to check on him and found him lying dead in his bedroom. She then called 911, but Monjack was reportedly already gone, and there was nothing that could be done for him. The body has since been turned over to the Coroner’s office for more investigation.
Monjack had noticeably deteriorated in appearance in the months following his wife’s death, no doubt that he was unable to deal with the death in a healthy way. Monjack had previously allowed video cameras into his room, and had given interviews about the death of his wife. He had said that her death had come as a complete shock, and that it was something that he was not prepared to deal with. Despite his related health conditions, Monjack may have died from a broken heart.
