Has Spencer Pratt finally cracked under the pressure of fame?

Following Pratt’s infamous split from fellow Hills’ star Heidi Montag, his behaviour has become increasingly bizarre. From publicly battling anger management issues on The Hills, turning up uninvited to the series’ finale after show party and launching his new muse, website KingSpencer.com, it seems that the pressure of fame is finally setting in.

Reportedly estranged from friends and family, Pratt stated recently that the main reason behind split with Montag was their difference in opinion about fame. Spencer stated in a recent interview that the marriage broke down due to the fact that Montag simply “didn’t want fame anymore” and preferred to have a “quieter life” whereas he loved the press and publicity that The Hills brought.

But it seems that the The Hills “villain” is breaking under the pressure of finding fame without the helping hand of MTV and Montag.

Resorting to Twitter.com to maintain his “career”, he recently worried fans by tweeting “it takes so much hard work being good at anything” and even more alarmingly “Having no friends is super easy”, quickly followed by “If I didn’t love myself, who would?”.

However, it remains the question: is this another bid to restart his career in the Hollywood hills without The Hills or Heidi Montag, or a cry for help?
