Stephanie Miller GAY: Comes Out Of The Closet – Lesbian Radio Host – Stephanie Catherine Miller, a popular liberal radio talk show host is leaving the closet. Stephanie Miller was inspired by country singer Chely Wright, who recently revealed that she was a lesbian. Miller made her announcement on her radio show, “The Stephanie Miller Show,” Friday.
Stephanie Miller hyped her coming out of the closet, one hour before on Twitter, saying: “There may be a lot of crying next hour,” and “Stick around for the next hour. Mama’s got something to tell you.”
Stephanie had the following to share with her listeners: “I’m a gay woman,” Miller, 48, revealed on the show. “I’ve got the gay on me. There, that’s wasn’t so hard, was it?”
Miller continued, opening about the path that brought her to this outing:
“The fact that I’m kind of a single loser – that’s mostly true. I still think firemen are hot. I’ve always thought, do I owe everybody my sexual history? I’ve been out to everybody – my family my friends. Who really didn’t know this? ”
Miller has always defended gay rights and was raised in a conservative family. The former comedienne has dated men in the past, she explained: “Frankly, I’ve always been a slut.”
“I actually did turn my high school boyfriend gay,” she said, jokingly. “The sad part about my high school boyfriend story is that he died of AIDS. He was my biggest fan. One of the best men I ever knew.”

I love her show, that’s where my interest stops. Her private life is hers and hers alone. I was a fan before she came out and I will be a fan for life. YOU GO GIRL!!!
I love Stephanie. Never knew she was gay hmm. My first girlfriend dumped me when I was 17, because as I later found out she was gay. The hairy armpits might have clued me in, but hey, when you’re in love and young, you’re blind to it. I’m just attracted to gay women. I was in love with Ellen before I found out she was gay. I mean I still like her, just not in that way anymore. I’m the guy version of a faghag.
I always felt that she was a lesbian. In fact, about 3-4 years ago I did an internet search about her being lesbian, of course I didn’t find anything.
I just thought that she didn’t discuss it or “come out” because she felt her personal life was…personal. But, likely it was a significant hurdle for her, as it would have ramifications for her professionally and socially.
