The Dark Knight:Batman 3 Breaks Preview Record

The Dark Knight Online - The Dark Knight, starring Heath Ledger as The Joker broke the record of midnight preview screenings by making $US18.5 million last night.The previous record was held by Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith that grossed an estimated $18.5 in 2005.Batman 3 is also expected to have the highest single day opening record that is currently held by Spider-man 3 which made $59.8 million.
Although fans are doing all they can to watch the The Dark Knight online expect the Christopher Nolan-directed flick to reach $170 million this weekend.
