TV presenter refuses to read Paris Hilton news
A newscaster refused to lead her program with a story about Paris Hilton, arguing she was fed up with media attention given to the controversial Hollywood socialite.
She tore her script to pieces on the air and then put another one through a shredder Friday morning when she was asked by her editors on MSNBC cable channel to lead the newscast with an item about Hilton.
“Listen, I just don’t believe in covering that story, especially not as the lead story in a newscast when you have a day like today,” Brzezinski said on the air.

Thank God a news person with morals and wants to cover the news, instead of sluts gone wild. Walter Cronkite would be proud of her. Please msnbc save the trash stories for entertainment tonight or the national inquirer. Btween the left wing media and the right wing media having agendas, the news is never just reporter anymore, now the views of the news media is forced down the throats of viewers vesus the viewer making up their own mind.
