I went into the theater with mixed view points on what the movie would be like. Let me tell you this, it turned out to be the most incredible experience! I was not expecting it to be so good. I actually went with about 14 friends, some had not even read the books and they loved it as well. Some of the elderly critics said that the effects were not that great so I was expecting them to be corny…they weren’t at all. They also said the meadow scene was lacking, but I thought it was absolutely amazing! I watched in astonishment as my favorite book was brought to life on the big screen and the only thing I want is more!! The acting was incredible…you could actually feel Edwards torment in Rob’s emotions. Kristen was a fantastic Bella, perfect in every way. I feel so lucky to have been able to see this movie and I will see it over and over again! Twilight has become a household name and this movie just reinforces all the hype!!!

I am a HUGE Twilight fan, and when i heard they were making a movie of it, I remember thinking that there was no way they could acually bring this book to life and not make it cheesy. I was actually kind of upset because now that a movie would be coming out, people weren’t going to read the books because they could just go see the movie-and I thought there was no way someone could make a movie that was even close to how good the book was. So I was reluctant going in the movie theater (yes, i did think it was going to suck, but i still had to see how it turned out), but I actually loved it!! It turned out wonderful!! They got all the characters right! Im not kidding-the people they picked out to play the characters looked and acted almost EXACTLY how i pictured!! Especially Carlisle- he was perfect! I liked it so much-i saw it 3 times in less than 24 hours!
And the movie was so good that the people who saw it and loved it too, they are going to read all the books! And I think that’s great because those are my favorite books!!!(along w/ Harry Potter)
This movie was AMAZING and i recommend it for EVERYONE!!!

P.S. Edward and Jasper are hott!!!! :)

I went to see the movie on Saturday. I took some friends and my husband who have never read the book. I was worried because i wasnt sure how they would like it, or if the movie could live up to the books. OMG it was amazing how wonderful the movie turned out. The cast was perfect and i held my breath the whole time. What really got me was when my husband leaned in to me and says i really love the story. I was shocked because he likes horror and action movies. Ive seen the movie again yesterday. All my friends loved it and are going to read the books. I hope they keep the same director she captured the intimacy and heart of the story. It would be a shame to have someone come along to wreck it. I hope they listen to the fans on that one. TOO MUCH HOLLYWOOD SPECIAL AFFECTS IS A BAD THING SOMETIMES!! CANT WAIT FOR NEW MOON!!
