Willie Nelson Haircut Picture:Willie Nelson Cuts Hair – Country singer Willie Nelson is now sans his long hair, according to recent reports. Nelson had been wearing his hair in waist deep pigtails for a number of years. In fact, he had worn his hair in that way for so long, it had become his signature hair style, and will likely remain a hair style that will define Nelson and his career. He recently cut his hair, which now goes down to his shoulders. Nelson is currently 77 years old, and was all smiles as he showed off his new haircut while he played with his sons band in Maui.
A spokesperson for Nelson said that Nelson had just cut his hair in the past couple of weeks. In 2007, Nelson had claimed that he would not be changing his look any time soon in an interview that was held with Stuff Magazine.
“There have been a couple of times, I’ve run into people who have requested that I cut my hair, but I’m not going to do it,” he had said at the time, apparently changing his mind in recent weeks. “Not for a movie or anything. You know, I might decide I don’t like it one day and cut it all off, but I wouldn’t do it because that’s what somebody wanted me to do.”
Nelson looks basically the same, but it does take a few extra glances to get used to the new hair style that is being worn by the singer. His representative made it sound as if Nelson had grown tired of tending to his long hair, and was looking for something more manageable.

Willie’s hair may be cut but the music is thriving more than ever. “The fact is Willie has two sons with their own bands. “Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real have toured externsively with Dad and have built a strong national following. The band backing Mr. Nelson at Charlie’s on Maui was L.A. based America folk rock band The Reflectacles with Micah Nelson on drums.”
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Willie is not Willie without the braids. However, like Melissa, I too hope he donated it to Locks of Love or a similar organization.
I had a ponytail to my waist. It was a pain to keep clean and the thing had to be tied up with multiple bands when I rode my motorcycle. I cut it and donated it to Locks for Love which makes wigs for kids with cancer. My hair is the same color as Willie’s. His will be put in a museum honoring him, I’m sure.

Great reply Catherine! Long or not, He’s great. I don’t care what his reasons are, That is his own business. He looks, sounds, and just is great. I still have hair to my waist, it’s not a pain for me (yet) but that is my own business. I hope I look (and can still play) that good at 77! Go Willie!

My hair is that long and i know what his doing but sell it Bought Albums When he had tax problem just help. Im 50 Years old that dosnt matter losing everthing buy his hair.
