Thomas Beatie Pregnant Man “Oprah” Video Interview
The world first pregnant man Thomas Beatie who was born Tracy Lagondino appeared on the Oprah show earlier today.After undergoing a double mastectomy and taking male hormones, Thomas became a man (legally), but opted to keep his female reproductive organs. He is currently six months pregnant with a baby girl. His wife, Nancy, was left infertile following a hysterectomy, so Thomas is carrying their child himself.Thomas said:
“I don’t feel like I was born in the wrong body. I feel like I was meant to be exactly who I am today.”
“but I felt like I was pushed into it. It was what I had to do.“I’m a person and I have a right to have my own biological child.”
