According to recent reports, the Father’s Day celebrations for Riverdale actor Mark Consuelos might have started on a bit of a wrong note, as his daughter, Lola, walked in on him having sex with his wife, Kelly Ripa.
The date also marked the 18th birthday of Lola, who wanted to surprise her parents and start the day early with them.
Both parents were quite let down by what happened, and have expressed their disappointment over the situation.
They were also disappointed in themselves for starting Lola’s day in such a manner, although it is not clear who should take the full blame in this scenario.
The two parents tried to stop their daughter as soon as they heard the door opening, but it was too late.
Even though she shut the door shortly afterward, they could hear her complaining on the other side.
However, the complaints seem to be more in the tone of typical teenager ones, rather than anything serious — Lola claimed that she “used to see in color and now everything is gray.”
Lola went on to berate her parents while the three of them were eating together later on and called them disgusting.
However, her mother quickly shut her down by pointing out that they were doing their business in their room, not in the kitchen or anywhere else in the home.
Why Lola chose to enter the room without knocking is not clear, but many online comments have been mocking her for her curiosity and subsequent outrage.
The two TV personalities are also proud parents to two sons — Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 16 — who have walked in on them in the past while having fun in their bedroom.
After Ripa shared a picture of her two sons with their father, one person chimed in: “I can tell this was one year ago. This photo is in color and Lola now only sees gray! 😂😂😂 BEST STORY EVER!!!!”
A second supporter explained: “I can’t handle the story of her walking into your room Father’s Day morning it’s fucking hysterical.🤣🤣”
A third follower: “I always just open my parents door without knocking, I think Lola just have me a reason to start knocking….”
