Some protesters yelled at Democratic nominee for president Hillary Clinton during a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday. This incident forced Secret Service agents to walk on stage to make sure that the candidate was safe.
At some point, an agent can be heard telling Mrs. Clinton: “You’re OK. Keep talking. … We’re not going anywhere.”
Moments later, the former first lady tried to turned the whole matter into a joke and said: “Apparently, these people are here to protest Trump because Trump and his kids have killed a lot of animals.”
The audience reacted well to her remark. The incident is reminiscent of what happened at a Donald Trump rally in Dayton, Ohio in March. Some commentators have praised Clinton’s cool demeanor under pressure.
