Thomas Ravenel Claims Ashley Jacobs Is Only Interested In His Money — Patricia Altschul, A Friend Of The ‘Southern Charm’ Star Thinks She Is A “Gold Digger”

The relationship between Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs seems to be going somewhat badly, judging by the latest episode of Southern Charm on Bravo.

And while many suspected that Jacobs could be the one displeased with the situation, it seems like Ravenel is actually the person looking for a change.

According to him, he sees a lack of balance in the contributions towards the relationship on both sides, and a friend of his, Patricia Altschul, went on describing Jacobs as a gold digger.

This apparently stems from a recent comment that Jacobs made towards Ravenel in response to his question. When asked why she was so interested in having a relationship with Ravenel and why she loved him so much, Jacobs could apparently only say that he was a “good provider.”

It does not take too much work to see through a statement like that, which could certainly explain why Ravenel was so disappointed recently.

Altschul seems to agree with that notion, pointing out various other aspects of Ashley’s life that paint her in a negative light.

Having pretty much no life of her own and only living under her partner’s roof does seem to imply that her interests are not entirely romantically motivated.

Whether Ravenel will allow himself to remain a sugar daddy in the future remains to be seen, but it does seem like he is coming close to a tipping point in this regard.

Even more worryingly for him, she seemed anxious at the idea of getting a job, claiming that it would make her insecure about Ravenel going out to parties without her while she is busy at work.

All of this drama comes at a point where the former politician’s future on Southern Charm seems uncertain — he is being investigated for sexual misconduct.

Critics are slamming the network for not wrapping the investigation faster.
