Salvador Rolando Ramos was behind Texas school shooting

On May 24th, Salvador Rolando Ramos, a lone gunman, who had announced to his family and friends in 2018 that he had plans to leave a bloodbath behind him, did just that at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

Salvador Ramos, an 18-year-old, shot his grandmother, and moments later, he carried out the rampage he had promised.

With an assault rifle in hand, he drove to nearby Robb Elementary School, where he killed nineteen students and two beloved teachers and wounded seventeen others.

Some police officers failed to intervene in the Texas school shooting

As Ramos slaughtered the children in one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history, more than a dozen police officers stood outside the school for over 40 minutes and did nothing.

Videos even showed the police officers tackling, handcuffing, and pepper-spraying desperate parents attempting to run inside the school to save their children.

Many of the children locked inside the classroom with the mass murderer made at least five 911 calls pleading for help, and the officers failed to intervene.

Ramos fired a total of 116 rounds in less than an hour. Brave US Border Patrol agents eventually entered the classroom and killed the teen shooter.

The police officers said during a press conference that they were afraid of getting shot and decided to wait for the tactical units to arrive.

Irma Garcia tried to shield her students during the school shooting

Irma Garcia, who took unimaginable actions to protect her beloved students during the mass shooting, lost her life.

It has been confirmed that Irma Garcia was found holding the lifeless body of a child in her arms. Irma Garcia had taught fourth grade at the school for the last 23 years.

The dedicated educator left behind a loving husband and four children Cristian, Jose, Lyliana, and Alysandra Garcia.

Two days after Joe Garcia lost his wife while attending a memorial, he suffered a heart attack and died. Joe Garcia’s cause of death is said to be cardiac arrest.

His relatives say that efforts, including chest compressions, were performed to revive him.

The passing of Joe Garcia was announced by several family members who were already mourning the loss of Irma Garcia.

The Garcias are a deeply religious family who regularly attends mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde.

In a brief statement issued by the Archdiocese of San Antonio to CNN, it was confirmed that the devastated man suffered a fatal health episode because his heart could not bear the loss of his wife.

Rev. Eduardo Morales said: “They were good church-going people, always willing to help, always seeing what they could do to be there for the community, not only their children, and I hope that we remember how giving they were, how loving they were.”

The spokesperson for the archdiocese revealed that Joe Garcia met the archbishop on Wednesday afternoon for some much-needed prayers, to talk about the pain of losing his wife, and make funeral arrangements.

The four orphaned children have been seen in church with the parishioners and the reverend praying for them.

A video has emerged showing a grief-stricken Joe Garcia carrying a large bouquet of red roses to the memorial set up outside Robb Elementary school for the victims of the horrendous mass shooting.

Joe Garcia was accompanied by a man, who showed support by placing his hand on his shoulders as he laid the flowers at the feet of the cross that carried his late spouse’s name.

As Joe Garcia walked away from the cross, the heavy burden and pain could be seen written all over his face. Irma Garcia and her husband were married for almost 24 years.

According to their relatives, Irma first met Joe Garcia in eighth grade, fell in love, and they became high school sweethearts.

Irma Garcia’s nephew wrote about the death of his aunt’s husband on Twitter. He shared: “Lord God, please on our family, my tias husband passed away this morning due to a heart attack at home. He’s with his wife now, and these two will make anyone feel loved no matter what. They have the purest hearts ever. I love you, sm tia and tio, please be with me every step of the way.”

According to Irma Garcia’s school profile, she loved her husband more than anything else. She also enjoyed barbecuing and listening to classic rock with her spouse.

GoFundMe campaign for Irma Garcia and Joe Garcia’s funerals and other expenses raises millions

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched for the deceased couple’s funerals and the Garcia family’s various expenses. The GoFundMe post had surpassed the $2.5 million mark by Saturday morning.

Irma Garcia’s cousin, who originally set up the campaign, said: “The money will be used for any expenses needed for the future education of their children and for the family needs.”

The relatives called Irma Garcia a hero who died protecting her students. The post said: “She sacrificed herself protecting the kids in her classroom. She was a hero.”
