It appears that the popular TV series The Last Man Standing will go on with fresh blood on FOX a year after ABC stopped airing it.

However, with the new launch of the comedy, some alterations are going to be made to two of the major characters.

Apparently, the actors, who used to portray daughter Mandy and grandson Boyd (Flynn Morrison) of Tim Allen’s character, will not be returning to the cast for the seventh season of the show.

One fan had this to say about Molly Ephraim leaving the show, “You really made the show in Last Man Standing. Sorry to hear you will not be returning. You will be missed.”

Another follower asked, “Do you think Hollywood will embrace you more for not returning to the best show on tv? Or are you not acting any longer?”

In the days to come, their positions will be filled with new actors.

News about the changes in the cast comes after it was rumored last week that the two actors still had not participated in any negotiations about the upcoming season of the series.

For the time being, at least fans can be reassured that they will again see Kaitlyn Dever in her recurring role of Eve.

Others already confirmed positions that remain the same from the previous seasons include Nancy Travis, Amanda Fuller, Jonathan Adams, Christoph Sanders, Jordan Masterson and Hector Elizondo.

The decision for the re-launch of The Last Man Standing was allegedly inspired by the resurrection of the classic series Roseanne on ABC, which turned out to be a grand success among viewers.

As a result, 20th Century Fox turned its attention to the Tim Allen series and decided to take the plunge.

The show will air on FOX at the same time as it did before on ABC, and the first episode of the new season is set to air on September 28.
