While the world is still in shock over the unexpected and tragic death of cuisine master Anthony Bourdain, his remains were already cremated in France on Wednesday.

For the time being, it is planned that the ashes of the famous culinary host will be transported to the United States on Friday, just one week after the news about the death of the celebrity culinary genius broke out.

The 61-year-old TV host’s body was discovered on June 8 at his hotel room in Kaysersberg, France by his close friend and colleague Eric Ripert.

Bourdain and Ripert had been spending the last few days in this French region in preparation of an episode for Parts Unknown, Bourdain’s culinary and travel show for cable news network CNN.

According to information issued by French authorities that are responsible for the case, no evidence was found that would suggest the involvement of a third party.

The deceased’s remains will also be tested for the presence of drugs or other medications in his system.

Following the news of the tragedy, a lot of fans and admirers of the iconic chef visited his restaurant “Les Halles” in New York to pay a final tribute to the food and travel expert. Many left flower bouquets or handwritten messages outside the restaurant.

The closest friends and family of Bourdain also wrote heartfelt messages on Twitter and shared numerous photos of the TV host.

Bourdain’s girlfriend, Italian actress Asia Argento, was also among the people who paid tribute to him on social media and also asked from the many fans of Bourdain to respect the privacy of his family in these hard times.

She was right because there is a lot of speculation going on right now because Bourdain’s numerous fans around the globe are looking for answers.

Some have even accused Argento of cheating with a young French reporter.
