Fans doubting the deaths of celebrities is nothing new under the sun, especially in the world of hip-hop.

Stories of Tupac Shakur’s alleged hideouts are still going around so many years later, and now, recently deceased rapper XXXTentacion is apparently the next target of such rumors.

The main argument in favor of the theory is the fact that the rapper had already tried to “play dead” before, fooling everyone into thinking that he had hanged himself, only to reveal the truth in a video he posted later.

However, the situation is much different this time, with official statements from authorities and other major figures confirming the worst.

It does not look like there is any realistic possibility that the rumors could be true, not after so much has already been said in the public space.

Some have tried to defend their stance, claiming that discussing such conspiracy theories is entirely harmless and should not bother anyone.

However, in a sensitive situation like that, those who were closest to the celebrity and are mourning his death right now probably do not share the enthusiasm behind those theories.

While no official comment has been made in this regard yet, it is pretty clear what the official stances of those people would be.

While the situation is still unfolding with new reports coming out regularly, it is safe to assume that the original news about the rapper’s death was genuine and he is not going to be making a surprise joke comeback.

Although, it should probably also go without saying that few would likely be surprised if this did happen.

What makes the theory more unlikely is the fact that Florida officials have already arrested Wednesday night a suspect in relation to the murder of the talented and controversial hip-hop star.

Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, was charged with first-degree first- murder without premeditation.
